Rio de Janeiro, RJ. On 24 March 2021, the Brazilian Peace Operations Joint Training Center (CCOPAB) - Sergio Vieira de Mello Center - by means of a VTC, took part in the first coordination meeting (RC.01) from ALCOPAZ.
Among several issues, it is important to highlight the presentation carried out by a UN DPO/ITS member about the following: “The training architecture for UN peace operations.”
Commanders of Training Centers from the following countries participated in the activity: Argentina, Brazil (CCOPAB), Chile, Ecuador, Guatemala, Mexico, Peru and Uruguay, which is currently holding the presidency Pro-tempore of ALCOPAZ.
Apart from the participation of CCOPAB at RC.01, LTC Cesar Amadeo FRAGNI, from the Argentine Army and currently a foreign instructor at CCOPAB, as well as MAJ Christiane Lima, from CCOPAB, also attended the event.
Sergio Vieira de Mello Center has been a full member of ALCOPAZ since 2007.
